Peacemaking

Peacemaking is central to the mission of St. Joan of Arc.  For many years, the St. Joan of Arc WAMM Peacemakers group has worked to identify and address violence and war, which is antithetical to the "good news" of the Gospel and the lived example of Jesus. Our group is affiliated with Women Against Military Madness (WAMM) and collaborates with many peace and nonviolence organizations.  We believe nonviolence is the humane answer to militarism as well as institutional and personal violence. Our core team meets monthly.

Join us:

• Oppose war and militarism with us through direct nonviolent actions in vigils and marches.
  
• Join our efforts to engage parishioners of all ages to embrace nonviolence.
• Attend an Every Church a Peace Church gathering, hosted by our peacemakers at St. Joan of Arc. ECAPC is a network of people of faith collaborating in fellowship, education, and action.
