SJA Outreach Fund Update: The SJA Outreach Fund is a restricted, designated fund, which means that donations must be made separately from donations to the operating budget, and donations to the Outreach Fund are not subject to the 10% archdiocesan assessment. This is one of the things we do: Twice a year, we award Justice Grants to nonprofit organizations in which our parishioners are committed volunteers and leaders. If you volunteer with a great project, pick up an application at the front desk or contact Julie Madden at jmadden@stjoan.com. Our next deadline is Nov. 1, and the process is very simple. In the last fiscal year, we awarded 26 grants totaling $150,000 to support work that matters to you!
