Lent 2025: Our Wilderness Journeys. On Ash Wednesday we begin our Lenten journey, following the life of Jesus, exploring our own individual and collective journeys in the wilderness. This is a rich time of reflection, intention, and action. We hope you will join us!
On Ash Wednesday, there will be masses at 8am and noon in the church, with distribution of ashes. From 5:30-6:30pm, we invite you to Hospitality Hall for our first communal supper of soup and grilled cheese sandwiches! There will a sing-along in the church at 6pm led by Steve Kremer, for those who eat earlier, and at 7pm, we will celebrate our Ash Wednesday service in the gym, with powerful witness stories from three parishioners, music by our SJA choir, and sharing of the distribution of ashes.
