Shawn Phillips (settler) has been the Lay Director at Gichitwaa Kateri and the Archdiocesan Director of the Office of Indian Ministry going on six years. He is here this morning as Co-chair of the 2023 Tekakwitha Conference that will be hosted in Bloomington, MN July 19-23 to invite St. Joan of Arc and the Archdiocese to participate in the conference. The Conference theme this year is “Gathering for Healing Through Living Waters”. We invite all to walk in solidarity of American Indians in our healing from the actions taken during the Boarding School Era. Shawn will provide a glimpse of the National Tekakwitha Conference and why we should all participate.
