Sunday Gym Mass
The unique blend of music (old and new, liturgical and contemporary) helps create a welcoming atmosphere of joy and warmth. Along with the pastors, inspiring guest pre-mass speakers continually challenge us to recognize the presence of the Divine in each person and to apply Gospel values to our contemporary lifestyles. They teach us ways to change our world. Professionals working with the poor, abused and marginalized enlighten and challenge us to act.  Philosophers and theologians share their perspectives of faith, forgiveness and prayer. Whether they come from South Minneapolis or from the other side of the world, these talented and thought-provoking presenters are a cornerstone and a highlight of our Sunday Liturgy as they share with us ways to participate in the healing of the world.

Our Sunday Gym Mass is also defined by talented parish and guest musicians, relevant and inspiring songs and a community filled with the Spirit. Our musicians embrace, with joy and respect, music’s power to bring together all of the elements of worship: word, ritual and prayer. We present the sacred songs of lived experience that bring all voices, young and old, together as one. Our music opens hearts to the Divine and sends us into the world with joy, hope and a renewed commitment to our mission.

Sunday Family Mass
“Family Mass is our joy-filled, intentional, and sacred worship space, a beautiful, inclusive, and holy circle of compassion and welcome for families to grow together in faith.” –Monie Tillman, parishioner

Our joyful Family Mass is designed for families to worship together. Everyone is welcome. People of all ages receive the gospel message in a variety of fun, creative, and relevant ways—through stories, plays, and sharing that apply gospel themes to our daily lives. Using image and word, music and song we invite both children and adults into a meaningful engagement with their spiritual lives.

Each week, parents and children participate in the many ministries that make Family Mass a true community. Children serve as readers, musicians, and projectionists, and families serve as hosts and petitioners. We also support a Children’s Choir, who grace our campus-wide liturgies with song. And we encourage families to bring the gospel to the streets through a variety of outreach ministries.

Family Mass offers a loving and inspiring sacred place to encounter God, engage with ideas of faith and justice, and grow together in spirit and community. Family Mass runs from September through mid-May. Join us!

Saturday Mass
Saturday evening mass in the St. Joan of Arc Church is a bit more traditional and a quieter setting if you are looking for a peaceful prayer at the end of your week.  This mass is also recorded and available on our YouTube channel for all of our St. Joan of Arc folks who are unable to join us in person.  Come worship with our community at 5:00 on each Saturday evening throughout the year.
