This Small Christian Community will encourage conversations around addiction and recovery issues in a safe, compassionate, and confidential environment. Our next meeting is in the Upper Room. This month we will look at how meditation can be an important part of the recovery process. Thankfully, our tradition has a solid way of practicing meditation with our scriptures. We will discuss how Lectio Divina can assist folks in recovery by providing a space to quiet our minds. St. Paul's epistles can bring encouraging words, and the Psalms understand our struggles and suffering. This type of meditation centers God's loving kindness when we need it the most. Join us!
