2nd Sun of Advent (Peace): We hear Red & Green & Blue & White, written by Lee Wind and illustrated by Paul O. Zelinsky, based on a true story about a Christian neighborhood which rallies together when a Jewish family is attacked. The story concludes with the Children's Choir singing "Carry the Light" in a dimmed church holding votive candles. The community Makes Hope Real by banding together to combat hate. Our reader is Jess Klander. Children's choir sing "O Jesus, Light in the Darkness" for our Offertory song. Fr. Nosbush presides.
