Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Community, has hosted its unique annual Cabaret fundraiser since 1994 to raise money for our parish programs and ministries while treating audiences to the Twin Cities’ top musical talents.
Cabaret raises more than $100,000 each year and has brought in over $1.5 million for Saint Joan of Arc’s parish programs and ministries. Each year a group of parishioners volunteer their time to help make Cabaret happen.
How We Use The Funds
The funds raised at Cabaret go to help underwrite the 90 plus SJA ministries that serve our parish, neighborhood and aids our brothers and sisters in Guatemala and Africa. We believe strongly in programs and ministries that serve the poor, marginalized, isolated, alienated and suffering. We focus on our commitment to “Welcome You Wherever You Are on Your Journey” – and we mean it. Some will tell you that a visit to a St. Joan of Arc liturgy was the last stop on their search for a worshipping community that accepted them for who and what they are. They came here on a Sunday morning and they have stayed for years. If you are looking for a spiritual home we hope you will visit us and enjoy the joy-filled experience of Sunday at SJA.
Cabaret is the highlight of our musical year, selling out year after year and is known for showcasing topnotch Twin Cities talent. Again this year music directors George Maurer, Tommy Barbarella and Dan Chouinard have put together a lineup that includes a long list of some of the Twin Cities finest, best known and respected performers.
