Trauma, Loss, and Compassion: Drawing upon his remarkable story of healing and the innovative work of his non-profit Mind Body Solutions, Matthew Sanford explores the intersection of trauma, loss, and roots of compassion. Sanford challenges us to consider compassion as a fundamental orientation to all things, one based on sensation and feeling rather than moral imperatives. It’s how we live authentically from ‘inside-to-out’ that expresses compassion, not how we think we should live.
