St. Joan of Arc Memorial Garden

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

Saint Joan of Arc’s Memorial Garden provides a final resting place for the cremated remains of our community members. Located on the north side of the church, the garden is a place for loved ones to pray, meditate, and find serenity and solace. Loved ones who are interned in our Memorial Garden can be honored by having their names engraved in the brick wall of the church.

You can also memorialize your loved one by purchasing a paver in the Memorial Garden. There are two options for pavers; three lines or five lines. Three lines include the person's name, full date of birth, full date of death. Five lines typically has the person's name and four lines of description - a line from a poem, words that bring to mind the person's character, etc. There is a sample of how to fill out the lines on the form.

Gardeners are always welcome as volunteers to assist with the upkeep of the garden. You can sign up to be a gardener through our Volunteer/Shared Ministry page.
