Dr. Amelia Franck Meyer is the founder and CEO of the national non-profit, Alia: innovations for people and systems impacted by childhood trauma. Alia is building a Proof of Concept that public child welfare agencies can serve as primary prevention agencies with a newly redesigned purpose of keeping children safe with, not from, their families. Amelia and her team believe that what all children need most is an uninterrupted sense of belonging that only their family can provide.
Our Mission: We inspire and drive transformative change for the people and systems entrusted with the welfare and wellbeing of children and their families.
Our Vision: Families are upheld as the foundation of lifelong wellbeing for children.
Our Values: Fearless Innovation | Audacious Optimism | Courageous Partnerships | A Sense of Urgency | Relentless Pursuit of Evidence
"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a model that makes the existing model obsolete." -Buckminster Fuller
