Today we commemorate the centenary of Armistice Day, which ended World War I and was to be the end of war. Parishioner Mikki Lindsay will share a story of childhood in wartime, and Prudence Johnson will sing for us. Veterans for Peace is also with us to ring the bell in remembrance, and our peacemakers are on hand in the Welcome Center. Also, join Veterans for Peace in the Daisy Room after the 11am mass to learn how Armistice Day became Veterans Day in the United States. Thank you to all our guests as they call us to reflect on the tragedy of war and the great hope of peace.
