St. Joan’s Mental Health/Mental Illness ministry provides a safe place of welcome for persons and families experiencing brain disorders.  We work to educate, support and empower people with mental health challenges and to diminish the stigma surrounding mental illness. Because mental health issues are so critical to the broader community, our offerings are free and open to all. 

• 2nd Monday programs by speakers involved with mental health issues. Click here for upcoming events.
• Support and participate in Sunday gym liturgies that focus on mental health issues.
• Resource library that provides printed materials including books, brochures and pamphlets on mental health topics.
• Volunteer opportunities exist to assist in planning, hospitality, facilitating events/programs, organizing the library, note writing and/or web article writing, photography, maintain e-mail listings and send out e-mails.
